Wait so wasn't this forum supposed to be about your book? Have you started it? Rewriting it? Thinking about it? Publishing it?

Man, if you even got past the writting stage I'd be envious, I can't my thing on the page. I'm having such a hard time not basing my characters on real people. It's really hard because we're always influenced by so many different kinds of people be them from TV, reality, or and mixture of the two.

Anyway, because I'm too lazy to go back and check what was this suppose to be about originally? Cuz if you're coming out with a book I must find it!

Hmm... I've tried.. I always get stuck at the prologue and I hate how I write Titus' and Elina's letters... It's just too... stiff in that part.

I must inform you, I'm working on a one-shot for a magazine... so I've been almost too busy for it. :D

Oh, well at least you have something to work on. I'm not doing much right now! :)

Stiff huh? Yeah I'm afraid I wouldn't be the best person to ask for advice about stiffness. Most of my righting is stiff to begin with!

Hummm as far as the, you getting stuck part. When I get stuck I look at other outlets and try to find another way of writing the part after the stuck part or the stuck part itself. Sometimes when you get stuck it's your mind telling you that the way you're going is wrong.

Hey! I just got an idea for the stiffness! Well I suppose they're letters, purhaps you can't do that. Unless you were planning on making them read by a thrid person or having the narrorator watching as they are being written. If that were the case you could add emotion as well as parts that were difficutlt to write, I'm not sure, it depends on the story.

I haven't read it so I'm not the best athority! Hehe

Well then you need some inspieration. My suggestion go find some, watch a new TV show, read a book, stuff like that always works for me . . .

Then again it wouldn't turn out to be that original but hey, that's all I got . . .

Oh, well I acctually understand what you mean. Do you know what "Hero Mechine" is? I got stuck there and made ALL the characters I currently have in my head or on paper. Yeah and I couldn't get back into it.

Okay once you're done with the editing. My advice would be: Take a break from both and then slowly come back to your story. Read it completely to get yourself back in the mood.

Sometimes you have to take things one step at a time, you know??
